Week 1
Jackson Industrial Construction was mobilized on site this week with demolition of the coal building, excavation of the Truck Load Out structure, and foundation formwork. 16 tons of structural steel was fabricated off-site.
Week 2
Footings and concrete piers for the Truck Load Out structure are completed with the first load of steel for the structure delivered to the galvanizer.
Week 3
Week 3 sees the back fill and compacting of the Truck Fill foundations with excavations for the Blend Building foundation, installation of the mud mat and rebar for pouring the mat slab.
Week 4
On site, the erection of the Truck Load Out structure began while the Blend Building foundations were continued. The Blender was received on site. At Jackson Industrial Construction, the Blend Building steel fabrication was started.
Week 5
The erection of the Truck Load Out structure was completed in week 5 along with the arrival and setting of the Truck Load Out silos.
Week 6
Week 6 saw the Truck Load Out silos dressed out with bag houses, target boxes, ladders and platforms. The backfill of the Blend Building was started this week as well.
Week 7
The backfilling on the Blend Building and MCC were completed in week 7 while tying rebar for both was both started and finished within the week. The Truck Slab was poured and finished as well as the stair landing and walkway between the Truck Load Out and building.
Week 8
Jackson Industrial Construction installed the ladder on the Truck Loadout Bin and installed the grating on the Truck Loadout structure this week. The first load of painted steel was also shipped to the jobsite.
Week 9
On site, the steel structure was erected while the grating on the Truck Loadout Structure was completed.
Week 10
The Blend Building is continuing to be erected in week 10. Other activities include the grouting of the base plates, clean up of the truck load out area, torq of connecting bolts and touch up paint.
Week 11
All work is was on site this week with continuation of erecting the Blend Building and grouting of the base plates.
Week 12
Work during week 12 included welding of cross braces, touch up paint, torq of bolts, continuation of the erection of the Blend Building, erection of the roof structure and completion of the bolt up of roof beams on the Blend Building.
Week 13
On site work included welding of the 3rd floor cross braces, bolting up and connection of roof beams, and torq of bolts.
Week 14
The roof structure cross bracing is welded, roof structure bolted up, and 2nd and 3rd floor grating installed in week 14.
Week 15
Week 15 saw a lot of activity with 2nd and 3rd floor grating continuing to be installed along with roof structure cross bracing continuing to be welded. The first floor was cleaned while railing on filters was installed. Girts installation was begun and the purlins on the MCC room were installed.
Week 16
The silos were set this week along with continued work on MCC siding and safety gates installation and welding on the roof bracing.
Week 17
Construction activities in week 17 included the ladder and handrail on bins, blend building siding, repaint on the floor beams, side MCC room and side interior wall in MCC room.
